SURE5.0 announces two new events in its February calendar: a new and final Q&A session and a new webinar on Industry 5.0.

This Q&A session, organised on 21 February at 12 pm, will be the last one before the registration deadline of the accelerator programme. All SMEs who want to ask questions during this event can register here.

On the other hand, SURE5.0 announces an upcoming webinar titled “VR, AR, and Mobile Robots: New Technologies for Production and Logistics.” This event aims to delve into the transformative potential of emerging technologies in the manufacturing and logistics sectors.

The webinar, scheduled for 28 February at 9:30 a.m., will feature three selected speakers to showcase various aspects of VR, AR and mobile robotics in industrial environments.

Kicking off the event will be an introduction by ANFIA, organiser of the webinar, setting the stage for an insightful exploration of the topic.

Virtual and Augmented Reality in Production
Alexander Kreppein, Research Fellow & Project Manager at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT, will delve into the applications of virtual and augmented reality in modern production processes.

Indoor Logistics by Mobile Robots
Kashif Mahmood, Researcher at TALTECH, will discuss the role of mobile robots in optimizing indoor logistics operations.

Extended Reality for Learning: The XR2Learn Approach
Alessio Gugliotta, Senior Program Manager at EIT Manufacturing, will explore the innovative XR2Learn approach for utilizing extended reality technologies in learning environments.

The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session, providing attendees with an opportunity to engage with the speakers and delve deeper into the topics discussed.
