The Institute LIFE -Institute for Climate, Energy & Society pursues a a clear social mission: to strengthen resilience of society and economy to climate and weather risks and to promote the transition to a low-carbon economy by 2050.
By pooling scientific excellence in technical, social and economic disciplines the institute supports companies and partners in the evaluation of different technologies in respect to their environmental and social impacts (life cycle sustainability assessment), scenario development, stakeholder involvement and project management in national and international funded undertakings.
