CiTin is a scientific, technological and technical assistance association, non-profit and of private nature. It is focused on the development of Applied R&D, Technology Transfer, Services Provide (consultant and roadmap for digital transformation) and Advanced Training Activities.
CiTin is organized in three major departments: the Advanced Manufacturing Systems Department, centered on the design and development of new manufacturing systems; the Cyber-Physical Systems Department is focused on the development of intelligent systems, that include digitization, communication networks and physical processes control, using distributed computational resources, not only enhancing the potential of the factory floor but also the overall business value chain; and the Mobility and Environment Department, which is dedicated to the production of automotive components and to the new materials’ development, with the goal of promoting eco-innovation mechanisms and thus foster circular economy.
